The Wonderful of Nongkosawit Tourism Village
Hello, travelers! How are you today? Hope you are all feeling as amazing as I'm right now. So, a few days ago we visited the amazing place in Semarang. Of course! The Enchantment of the beauty of Semarang does not need to be doubted. There are so many tourist destinations that are the main attraction of Semarang itself. One of them is the Nongkosawit Tourism Village which is located in Nongkosawit Village, Gunung Pati District, Semarang City, Central Java. This Tourism Village has many things to explore such as Omah Pang, agricultural and livestock educational tours, Mahtukung Waterfalls, terraced rice fields, and various kinds of culinary and souvenir making made from jenitri seeds.
One of the interesting things in the tourist village of Nongkosawit is Omah Pang. Omah means house and pang means tree branch. In addition, Pang also has its meaning. The letter P means panggonan (place), then the letter A means anak (children). The letter N means ngleluri (preserving traditional cultural arts from Java), and the last letter G means guyub rukun (harmonious harmony). So it can be concluded that Omah Pang is a place for children to preserve and maintain the integrity of cultural arts and a place that can be used for social interaction.
In Omah Pang itself, there are many things that can be done and not far from the essence of education itself such as reading books. Inside there is a mini library in Omah Pang and there are various kinds of books. Besides that, tourists can also see and practice making ringut puppets. Ringut puppet is a puppet made of thinned bamboo. Ringut itself is a designation from the Javanese language which means remnants of bamboo and sharp, the character of the ringut puppet itself depends on the maker's imagination.
Another activity that can be done at Omah Pang is making souvenirs made from jenitri seeds. These jenitri seeds contain 80% metal so they can be used as health bracelets or necklaces and contain bio-electromagnetism. The benefits contained are that it can become an electrical stabilizer in the body. Souvenirs are usually made of bracelets or necklaces. Another interesting thing about Omah Pang itself is that there is ablok, which is smoke that comes from the cooking stove and is used to drive away mosquitoes.
In addition, tourists are also invited to play gamelan and several traditional games such as blarak sempal and karapan blarak. Another activity that can also be done in the Nongkosawit tourist village is learning the traditional "Kuntulan'' dance. Kuntulan traditional dance is a traditional art that is intended as an expression of gratitude to God Almighty. In this dance there are also praises to God Almighty, thus bringing people closer to God.
The last but no less exciting activity is visiting the Mahtukung Waterfall. Mahtukung Waterfall isn't far from the Omah Pang, you can see the beautiful panorama of the waterfall that is ready to feast your eyes, exactly!
So, how are that travelers?! That's so amazing, right? Let's go visit Nongkosawit Tourism Village and find many wonders there.
